Reporting a member or a venue
Report a member by pressing and holding her on the “Who’s Going” list of an event, and a venue from the menu on the venue screen. On the same menu you can block a member, which takes effect immediately and hides you from each other.
- Reports go only to our team. The person you report is never told who reported them.
- Tell us what happened in your own words, with the date and the venue if it is relevant.
- We look at every report ourselves and decide based on what happened, whether it has happened before, and the risk to other people.
- We will not always be able to tell you the outcome, because what we do about another person's account is their private information. We will always tell you that we have acted.
What we do next is set out in the Community Guidelines.
Appealing a warning or a suspension
If your account is suspended, an appeal form appears in the app. Otherwise, email hello@goodvibetribe.appwith the subject “Appeal”.
- Tell us what you think we got wrong, and anything we would not already know.
- A person reads every appeal. The automatic no-show warning is the only decision our system makes on its own, and it can always be reviewed by hand.
- If we accept the appeal, we revoke the warning or lift the suspension, and your record is corrected.
- One appeal per decision. If nothing has changed, a second appeal will get the same answer.
Missed an event for a genuine reason — illness, a flight, an emergency? Say so. No-show warnings exist to protect venues from empty tables, not to punish bad luck.
Something went wrong at a venue
Tell us, even if you think nothing can be done. Report the venue in the app or email us with the date and what happened.
We take it up with the venue directly, we remove any no-show warning that came from being refused entry, and repeated problems affect whether we keep working with that venue. What we cannot do is compel a venue to serve you, refund you, or admit you — the venue runs its own business, as explained in the Venue & Offer Terms.
Making a formal complaint
If an answer from us has not resolved things, reply and ask for it to be escalated, or email hello@goodvibetribe.appwith “Complaint” in the subject line.
- We acknowledge a complaint within 2 business days.
- Someone who was not involved in the original decision reviews it.
- We give you a final written answer within 20 business days, and tell you if it will take longer.
If your complaint is about how we handled your personal data and you are not satisfied with our final answer, you can take it to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live. You do not need our permission and it costs nothing.
