Account Deletion Policy
You can delete your Good Vibe Tribe account yourself, from inside the app, in under a minute. This page explains exactly what happens when you do.
Last updated 25 July 2026. Operated by AGENTIC INTERNATIONAL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16424508, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
How to delete your account
In the iOS app:Menu → Account → Delete account. Type DELETE, enter your password, and confirm.
On the website:sign in, then Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete my account. Type DELETE, enter your password, and confirm.
We ask for your password so that someone who picks up your unlocked phone or borrows your laptop cannot erase your account.
What is erased
Deleting your account removes, at once:
- Your login. The email address and password stop working immediately, and the authentication record itself is deleted.
- Your profile: first and last name, biography, date of birth, home city, Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp details.
- Every photo you uploaded, deleted from the storage bucket so the image links stop working.
- Your bookings, past and upcoming. Removing an upcoming booking releases the place, so the venue is no longer holding one for you.
- Your device tokens for push notifications, so your phone stops receiving anything from us.
- Your notifications, your queued messages, your membership record, your reward points and your rewards history.
- Your warnings, any suspension record, and your block list.
- Reports other people filed about you.
What we keep, and why
Very little survives, and none of it identifies you by name. UK data protection law lets us keep a limited amount where we have a legal obligation or a genuine need to establish or defend a claim.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Reports you filed about other members or venues, with your identity removed | A report about someone else's behaviour is evidence about them, not about you. Letting it disappear would mean anyone could erase the record of harm they had reported, and a pattern would go unnoticed. | Up to 24 months |
| Anonymous records of which events were viewed, with your identity removed | Aggregate interest counts that tell venues which events are worth running. Once your identity is detached, the row is a number and nothing more. | Up to 24 months |
| The administrative log of actions our staff took on accounts, with your identity removed | Accountability for our own team's decisions, and evidence if a decision is later challenged. | Up to 6 years |
| A one-way hash of your email address, and the date a suspension would have ended — written only if your account was suspended at the moment you deleted it | Otherwise a suspension could be shed simply by deleting the account and signing up again with the same address. The hash is a scrambled fingerprint: it can confirm a match but cannot be turned back into your address, and it holds nothing else about you. | Until the suspension would have expired, then deleted automatically |
Things worth knowing before you delete
- Cancel any upcoming booking first if you can. Deleting removes the booking, but a quick cancellation is fairer to the venue and to the member who gets your place.
- Deletion cannot be used to escape a live suspension. The suspension is carried forward against a hashed form of your email, so re-registering with the same address will not clear it.
- If a venue holds its own record of you from a visit, that is the venue's data under the venue's own privacy policy, and we cannot delete it for you. Contact the venue directly.
- Emails we already sent you stay in your inbox. Deletion stops future messages; it cannot reach into your mailbox.
If you would rather not use the app
The in-app route is the fastest, and we would rather you used it. If you cannot sign in, email privacy@goodvibetribe.app from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We may ask a question or two to confirm the account is yours, and we complete the request within one month, usually within a few days.
